Road and Date Time Closures during Youth Olympic Games 2010
Members of the public are encouraged to plan their travel early, use alternative routes and be gracious road users when getting around during the upcoming Youth Olympic Games (YOG) period.
To facilitate the various Games activities, selected lanes or roads leading to YOG venues will be closed off. These selected road closures will take place between 7 to 26 August during affected hours.
Date / Time of Closures:
• 7 August 2010 (Full Dress Rehearsal), Saturday (From 11.00am to
2.00am [following day])
• 14 August 2010, Saturday (From 9.00am to 2.00am [following day])
• 26 of August 2010, Thursday (From 12.00noon to 2.00am [following
day])

• Raffles Avenue (2-lane closure from 11.00am [7/8] / 9.00am [14/8] /
12.00noon [26/8] to 2.00pm)
• Raffles Avenue (From 2.00pm to 12.00midnight)
• Raffles Avenue (2-lane closure from 12.00midnight to 2.00am)
• Republic Boulevard towards Raffles Ave (One carriageway closure from
11.00am to 12.00midnight)

• Connaught Drive (2-lane closure from 2.00pm to 12.00midnight)

Signs on road closures will be put up near affected roads nearer to the date of the closure. Information leaflets on the closure will also be made available at most petrol stations islandwide from August 2010 onwards.

Singapore ERP Rates Revision for 4 Gantries WEF 2nd Aug
The Land Transport Authority has completed its quarterly review on ERP rates. With effect from 2 August, it will cost $2.00, 50 cents less, to pass through the gantries at East Coast Parkway (Fort Road) and the KPE slip road onto the ECP between 8.00 am to 8.30am. The gantry at Eastbound ECP (Marina South) and on the slip road from Ophir Road will see an increased rate of $1.00, 50 cents more, between 6.00pm and 6.30pm. ERP rates at the other gantries remain unchanged. The next ERP rates review will take place in November 2010 for the 4th Quarterly ERP Rate Review.
